I recently watched the Windows #DevQuest video series on YouTube, which is a great short documentary series hosted by the developer of Hidden Folks, Adriaan de Jongh. I was incredibly inspired by this series for my own journey, so when I discovered Hidden Folks I knew it was something I needed to download. I was incredibly amazed by the artwork and vast amounts of detail that were put into every level, yet remaining incredibly simplistic. The one color design made searching for items difficult, but in a fun way. Each of the characters blend so well together that it's hard to easily spot each item on the list, but with help of the clues, finding each one felt like a reward. As you might have been able to tell by the games on this blog, I'm not a huge fan of the puzzle genre, but this is up there with some of my favorite games this year.
