Hopefully you guys know by now how much I enjoy 8-bit style games. I think there is something special about keeping the graphics simple in a game and using only shapes. Because when the game doesn't rely on complicated graphics, more thought and effort is put into making the game fun and engaging. If you look at major title console games, often times they rely heavily on making the game look awesome and worry less about making the game actually fun. For this reason, you can sometimes almost expect games with simple graphics to be more fun and entertaining. I don't know if 2-Bit jump is a prime example of this, but for a freemium style game, it was actually very entertaining and fun to play.
