DrolfOfficial Waldo Score 7.2/10

7.2out of 10
Official Waldo Review

Drolf is a fun take on two different concepts, drawing your obstacle and mini golf. You are suited with a certain amount of "ink" that you can use to draw barriers that you can use to bounce or direct your golf ball into the hole. A very unique approach to mini golf, but because it was a draw yourself style game, I felt it lacked difficulty and excitement. Often times, I felt it was too easy or each hole sort of felt the same. I wish there was more of a score system or something that would make me try and improve or build an obstacle that would incur less strokes.

Even though Waldo's reviews are based on personal opinion, each game's rating follows a strict confidential rubric system for fairness.

User Interface Design (UI)
Game displays some but not all of the following: clean layout design, smooth transitions, animation / motion, good use of a color palette, orginality.
User Experience Design (UX)
User experience is flawless.
Game Design
Very simple design, very nice color palette, but I felt like it could use more to keep it visually interesting.
Learning Curve
Game required no tutorials or instructions to play.
Difficulty Progression
Game difficulty progressed to a certain point but then became either too easy or too difficult.
Playtime Longevity
It is a game that you will want to play for a week, but nothing more.
Sound Design
Music and/or sound effects fit the theme, but did not add value to the game.
Fun
Pretty fun, I could play for a few minutes at a time.
Concept Originality
Uses a concept that has been seen or used before but adds a very unique twist to that concept that makes it original on its own.
Post Production
Post production contains a well written description, screenshots, video and icon design.
